Snow and cold can’t stop our Fat Tuesday celebrations. Come party like it’s 85 degrees today. If the food doesn’t warm you up, try a Hurricane or Ky Twister!
Established in 1993 and hosting a Mardi Gras party ever since, BBC’s New Orleans transplants know how to celebrate Fat Tuesday in style from Hurricane drinks to Po Boys. The brewpubs will be decorated in festive Cajun style where Mardi Gras beads and party favors will enhance the ambiance. The BBC Raw Bar is always the hit with boiled shrimp, fresh boiled craw-fish, oysters on the half shell, Gumbo and King Cake. Or, order the Chef’s whim that evening which could be anything including Etouffee, Jambalaya, Oyster or Shrimp Po Boys and other Cajun specials.
Come out and enjoy the evening with your friends at The Bluegrass Brewing Company where you know you can always enjoy the best local beer and best Mardi Gras celebration in Louisville.

Chocolate Love – A high alcohol Wheat wine with a lovely portion of chocolate malt added to give this ale a voluptuous malty sweet body with a slight dark chocolate bite. abv 9.1.IBU 53

Bluegrass Brewing Company St. Matthews is running a Tank Buster Special on the Midnight IPA. We need to make room for the new beers coming out this month: Chocolate Wheat Wine, 3 different Belgium beers and an Irish Red for St. Patrick’s Day. Come help us make room and enjoy what is my favorite seasonal beer right now.
ABV 5.1% IBU 51 – An American IPA generously hopped and light in body. This beer has a deceivingly dark rich color, but a light to medium mouthfeel and body. Strong with bitterness upfront that stays all the way to the back. Lovely citrus like and spicy aroma.
